What we list
Tools we paid for, set up, and used on real work for at least a week. If nobody here used it, it does not get a listing, however well known it is.
What we check
The cheapest plan that is actually usable, what the free tier really allows, which integrations work when you connect them, and whether your work trains the model by default.
What we turn down
Wrappers with nothing added, tools that will not say what happens to your data, and anything whose pricing page cannot be read straight. We also turn down anyone who offers to pay for a place.

How this is paid for
Readers pay for it. There is no sponsored placement, no affiliate ordering and no arrangement under which a vendor can influence where they appear or what their score is. A tool that offers to pay for a listing is noted and turned down.
Listings do carry a link to the tool. That link is how a maker gets discovered here, and it is the only thing a listing buys — never a position, never a score.

Questions
- Can a company pay to be listed here?
- No. There is no sponsored placement, no affiliate ordering, and no arrangement under which a vendor can influence where they appear or what their score is. A tool that offers to pay is noted and turned down.
- How is a tool scored?
- An editor uses it on real work for at least a week and scores it out of 100 on setup, output quality, price to value, and support. Vendors are told their score; they cannot change it.
- Why do some listings have no score?
- A tool submitted by its maker is listed before an editor has tested it. Until that test happens the listing carries no score at all. That is missing information, not a low rating.
- What does a listing cost a maker?
- Nothing. A free listing is published once the badge appears in the HTML of the maker’s own site, which is how we confirm the listing is wanted. There is no paid tier.
- Why was a tool removed?
- Either its site stopped responding on our daily check, or the badge it published with disappeared and did not come back within the grace period. Both are reversible: fix it and verify again.
